To get to Rödkullen you drive on the E14 west through Åre and take the right to Rödkullen shortly after passing the VM:8 lift and Gästrappet, World Championship slope. From the main road it is 3km up to Rödkullen. Here we have ample parking and disabled spaces beside our skischool. To get to our house drive straight ahead and nothing else. With a fantastic position and ski-in ski-out it is easy to get from the car to the slopes.
In Rödkullen you can also find Rautjoxa restaurant serving excellent food, a daily skiers lunch and other tasty treats. There is also a large warming hut newly built for this season 2006/7. here you will also find Skistars Skicentre where you can buy liftpasses, book their skischool or buy any accessories. There is also plenty of toilets both disabled and child friendly, as well as lots of seating and ready meals and microwaves. Ski hire is available under Rautjoxa restaurant. Equipment to our guests is available from us.
The Rödkullen area is a superb section of the ski system for our skischool. The is a great variety of terrain from the easiest to very challenging. With plenty of drag lifts in the area it is possible to take skicarts all the way to the summit of Åreskutan.
